My Crazy Wonderful Life

There she is! The girl I sometimes remember. We all get so caught up in our lives and forget our selves from time to time. I am very guilty of such behavior. Living in a fifth wheel makes life simple, so sometimes I am in pajamas all day as I write. If I am working, I’m running around in scrubs and let’s face it there is nothing attractive or complimenting about scrubs, especially at my age. Comfort is a must. I have never considered myself pretty, but there are days we all like to feel pretty, so this is me joining the human race of womanhood today. I have taken “Thankful Thursday” to heart. My job allows me to see this beautiful magnificent country. Who could ask for more than that? I am blessed with more daily. I get to share in the care and teaching of patients every where I go. I get to write about the beautiful places that most people have never seen. I have a loving wonderful husband. A daughter that I adore more than life itself. She has given me a beautiful family. She is happily married to a good man with the three cutest grandkids a Yaya could ask for. My son is a traveler like I am. (We are a true band of gypsies.) I am so proud of the young man he has become and now he has blessed us with a beautiful mate. She is such a blessing to him and our family. Then there is the motley crew of our animals. Cy is my 9 year old lab, who has hiked this country. Opie is my son’s pittbull. He is the sweetest dog ever. He is my muse for the dogs in my books. Some evenings we all gather in our 36 foot trailer, which you can imagine as pure chaos, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. So, sometimes I may forget the girl I still am, but I am thankful for my crazy wonderful life and my band of gypsies. I love them all.
